internet at last.

if youre in one of the biggest cities in the world you would think that wifi is avaliable... negative.
so we just got to granada this afternoon and just got wifi.

it has been quite the adventure so far. really it has. weve learned so much about spain, eaten so much food, taken some pretty cool pictures, even stalked a few people in the process but its been super super super fun.

weve had little scandals every day which have made our trip interesting to say the least.
day 1: there was so much turbulance on the plane none of us could sleep and were scared as none other
day 2: we lost connor. no worries though about 45 minutes later we found him.
day 3: jaime got cursed by a prostitute
day 4: we got exposed to by a homeless man on the subway on the way to the stadium
day 5: there was a protest outside of the place where we ate
today: nothing so far (thank goodness)

madrid was a really interesting city. so SO overly populated but it made for some awesome people watching.....

the first day we were in the city we went to a modern art museum after we went to a park to have orientation and the whole "get to know the leaders" thing. their names are megan and dovan and both of them have done study abroad programs here and they both have worked with national geographic so they know alot about spain and all about the culture and everything.

the second day we went to the prada museum and that was alot better than the modern art one, i think because it was just classic and the modern one was just a little too out there for me. the afternoon however was the most fun thing we did the whole trip. we broke off into small groups and dovan brandon and a few of us girls went to the real madrid stadium. it was so cool. we got to go to the locker rooms, presidential suite, the bench, all around the stadium, the press room, the trophy room, EVERY thing.

yesterday we took a day trip to toledo and i have to say that it was the most precious quite town. it was the polar opposite of spain, in population and just in general. toledo was small and so quaint but at the same time had the most gorgeous cathedrals and the most interesting buildings. it was very cool and made for some pretty awesome pictures.

im in the process of putting some of the pictures up on facebook but now i have my laptop at least for the next nine days and ill be checking it so shoot me an email if you want.

love you!!
miss you!!

p.s.
happy fathers day!!!
